King Fahd University KFUPM scholarship is a fully-funded MS, MBA, and Ph.D. scholarship for graduate students applicants who demonstrate high potential for conducting original research in the fields of Engineering, Sciences, and Business to study for free in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

KFUPM Scholarship Admission Requirement

The general requirement for admission at the King Fahd university of petroleum and minerals Dhahran Saudi Arabia include:

Cumulative Grade-Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 or higher on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent, and a GPA of 3.00 in the subject of the major field
Official transcripts and university degree certificates are mandatory for final admission

Admission Requirement for MBA

Bachelor’s Degree in business, sciences, or engineering fields from a recognized institution.
CGPA of at least 3.00 on a scale of 4.0 or equivalent.
Official transcripts and degree certificates (needed for final admission).
Minimum TOEFL score of 520 (PBT), 190 (CBT), or 68 (IBT) or IELTS is also acceptable (min 6.0).
GMAT with a minimum score of 450
Two letters of recommendation [to be submitted through the online recommendation system]
At least a course in college-level calculus that covers both differentiation and integration subjects.
A working knowledge of computers as evidenced by at least one course in that area (e.g. data processing, programming, information systems, etc.)
At least one year of full-time post-graduation work experience. This requirement may be waived for applicants with strong academic records.
The Executive MBA program requires a minimum experience of 8 years, including 3 years in a mid or upper-level management position.
Satisfactorily meeting any additional departmental or university admission requirements.

PhD Program Admission Requirement

An M.S. degree in engineering or science from a recognized institution whose graduate programs are equivalent to those of (KFUPM), with a major in the proposed field or evidence of suitable background for entering the proposed field.
A minimum GPA of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent in both the B.S. and M.S. degrees.
Official transcripts and degree certificates are required for admission.
TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT) or 79 (IBT) or IELTS is 6.5
Statement of objective
GRE with an acceptable score.
Two letters of recommendation, preferably from academic advisers.
Satisfactorily meeting any additional departmental or university admission requirements.

The application portal for the scholarship opens twice a year for the fall and spring semester applications. All eligible interested applicants both locals and international are advised to apply within the application period.
